A little later than promised, but here are shots of my finished Dreadnought and Devastator Squad:
I took some extra time to try out my new varnishing regime on them. Two coats of gloss for protection then a layer of dullcote to kill the shine. I'm really pleased with the finish, and it should stand up to regular use.
With them done, I have 1000pts fully painted:
It's coming together quite nicely. And because I kind of jumped the gun and did the Redeemer early, I only have 5 Terminators to paint to reach 1500pts. Not bad at all. Should have them done within a couple of weeks, I reckon. Along with the special surprise unit. :)
So it's back to the painting table for me!

The attention to detail on the marines knees and oaths of the moments (two examples out of many) are really what makes this army stand out for me. You've done a terrific job!!!
That is a lovely looking force you have there already - now just some Drop Pods, Vindys, LR's, Bikes, Termies, more Dreds... etc etc... to go and you'll be finished! Seriously, well done fella, they look awesome, clean lines and attention to detail. Bases look good too.

@Ron: Yeah, it's started feeling good laying out the army before games and seeing just how far they've come along.
@Siph: Haha, don't encourage me, or I'll never get my other armies done! Having said that, I'll probably bulk them out with more "toys" later this year.
Those are looking really good. Congrats on the finish, but as we all know... there is no end. :P
Hey eek, great army you have there! I think your idea of collecting the Armageddon forces is a great idea, the theatre has all my favourite armies; Templars (incidently my first army), Salamanders, Imperial Guard, Orks etc etc.
